Back in the day the only way to learn how to fly fish was from your father, grandfather or going out on your own and learning how.
Now a days there is an unlimited number of resources out there to help you enjoy the sport of fly fishing.The internet, books, videos, local clubs and fly shops all offer there own twist to help you out.
We at Nomad Anglers have taught thousands of anglers get into the sport of fly fishing. Whether you need help tying a blood knot, casting your first fly rod or tying a "Gartside Gurgler" we've got the knowledge and know how to assist you. We hope to continue to add and update our EDUCATION section of the site to help answer most of the coming questions associated with fly fishing. All of our beginning fly fishing classes cover equipment rigging, basic knot tying, basic entomology, fly casting and fly selection.
Cost: $60
Where: We meet at the shop for the in class portion and then go across the street to the pond for on water casting instruction.
9am - 2pm
We will provide all of your equipment.
We also have private lessons available for $30 per hour.

Fly Tying Classes
Our basic fly tying class covers every thing you will need to know to get started with fly tying.
Our class meets for 4 nights for $60 and all of the tools and materials are provided.
